Free Irrigation Evaluation for WWS Customers

On average, more than half of the water used at home goes to outdoor irrigation. If you use a county‑supplied irrigation system and want guidance on improving your watering schedule and using outdoor water more efficiently, WWS partners with Broward’s NatureScape Irrigation Service to provide this service for free. Apply below, and a trained irrigation specialist will contact you to coordinate the irrigation system evaluation.

Lead Information and Service Line Inventory

Broward County Water and Wastewater Services monitors the quality of your drinking water for many compounds including lead.  Although there is no lead in the drinking water when it leaves the water plant, lead can enter drinking water due to lead service lines on your property or plumbing fixtures and pipes inside your home. Broward County Water and Wastewater Services has completed its service line inventory, with 100% of all service lines identified as Non-lead.

Fluoride Update

As of June 23, 2025, Broward County Water and Wastewater Services stopped adding fluoride to the drinking water.
