Report Fraud
The County is committed to protecting public resources and ensuring the proper use of public funds. If you suspect fraud, waste, or abuse of County funds, resources, or operations, you are encouraged to report it.
You may report anonymously, though providing your contact information allows us to follow up for clarification or to share the results of the investigation.

Preliminary Review by Our Office
Upon receipt of a complaint, a preliminary review of the allegations is made to determine jurisdiction and the probability that the alleged acts could have occurred. Credible complaints outside of the County Auditor's jurisdiction are referred to the appropriate agency. Program-related, personnel, or administrative matters often do not result in an investigation being opened. In these situations, we refer the complaint, when appropriate, to the proper County department.
Follow-Up
If you include your contact information, we may follow up with you for additional information or to share outcomes if permitted.
