Our rescue family works closely with us to:
Help care for sick/injured pets Find homes for special needs pets Find families for pets who have not been able to secure homes through our Adoption Center Because of the efforts of our Rescue Partners, many more dogs and cats have been able to receive a second chance at life.
About The Transfer Program
Our partnership with qualified and experienced Rescue Partners is a critical component in helping us save the lives of pets that are in need of special care. Your participation allows many of the most vulnerable animals to have a second chance of finding a safe and loving forever home. The Animal Care and Adoption Division encourages qualified 501(c)(3) rescue organizations to share your experience and apply to become an approved Rescue Partner. The invitation extends to those rescues that can assist in the safe and successful transport and transfer of pets to other regions in order to give them the greatest opportunity for a successful adoption.
